This
page contains some details of the different paint schemes of Pennrail. It started with some photos of cars as
actually modeled, both in PSMRRC days and the Bedford Division revival, and eventually
expand to the conceptualized schemes that were never painted. It will also contain a short snippet written
by Mark S. Wurst detailing how the locomotive scheme was born, augmented by
some recollections by Frank C. Mellott.
There
is an alternate draft page showing the modeled freight car roster here. (I prefer the draft page but have not
shifted to it as the primary one yet, since the draft one loads many thumbnails
while this page does not)

Although the PSMRRC did its own custom run in the late 1980s of Roundhouse boxcars, and sold these through the mid 1990s, many of this run did not turn out very well. The 2006 run of 60 cars through Accurail is the first known commissioned run outside of that early run done by members themselves. Over half of the 2006 run (32 built/renumbered so far) will remain in the hands of Rob McKeever, being individually renumbered using Accurails renumber decals. A few of them have been spoken for by others. A select few are available, inquire by email to pennrail at gmail dot com. (Some have asked about making them available via paypal. Im thinking about it)
